Hi. My name is Kennon Ibbeken and I am the Director of Special Events at Verulam Farm. I am excited to join the blogging world and tell the story of Verulam; our weddings and events, the property, the horses, some tips to help plan your next event and so much more. It is an exciting journey to enter into and I am glad you are coming along for the ride.
We began opening up the barn to private events when we held a charity event with The Subdues in 2010. We filled the barn with party goers and raised money for a great cause. The next year we did the same event with Delbert McClinton. Soon after these events, we began getting inquiries for weddings, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners and the like. We hosted our first wedding in June of 2012 and the rest is going down in the history books as we speak.
Our calendar of events is on the website listed under “Events”. We keep a current schedule on the website so you, the client, can have up to date access at any hour of the day.
I encourage you to keep checking back on the blog as I will be updating information each week.
